Ongava Lodge is a luxury safari lodge located within the Ongava Game Reserve, near Etosha National Park in Namibia. It offers an exclusive wildlife experience with excellent views, guided activities, and luxury accommodations.
2. Where is it located?
The lodge is on a hilltop in Ongava Game Reserve, directly bordering Etosha National Park's southern boundary.
3. Are meals included?
The lodge operates on a full-board basis, with all meals, selected beverages, and most activities included.
4. What is “half vs full board"
Half board - DBB ( includes Dinner, bed and breakfast)
Full board - Fully inclusive ( includes all meals , 2 x schedule pm & am, game drives and local drinks)
5. What activities are offered?
Activities include guided game drives in Ongava Reserve and Etosha National Park, walking safaris, and visits to a private waterhole and photographic hide.
6. Do you offer walking safaris?
Yes. We offer nature walks on the game reserve with a professional naturalist guide.
7. Is the lodge suitable for families?
Yes, but with restrictions. Children aged 6 and above are welcome, and those under 12 must be booked on private activities.
8. What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy varies based on the booking terms. It's recommended to review the specific terms when making your reservation.

10. What’s the best time of the year to visit?
This is dependent on the purpose of your visit. For wildlife sightings and photography the dry season provides better opportunities. The rainy season provides dramatic landscapes and horizons. The summers can be really hot and dry.

Cancellation policy
All reservations in a “confirmed” status, are liable for the below cancellation parameters should the booking be cancelled:
25% - Cancellation 4 weeks or more before arrival (28 days and more)
50% - Cancellation 3 weeks before arrival (21 days inclusive)
75% - Cancellation 2 weeks before arrival (14 days inclusive)
80% - Cancellation within 1 week before arrival (7 days inclusive)
100% - No show
The cancellation fee is calculated on the entire length of stay and the total booking value, including extras such as pilot / guide accommodation, activities, private vehicles, etc.
